Laura Apelt is a writer, producer and director whose documentary work primarily focuses on helping to tell the stories of people with unconventional lives and experiences. With a focus on ethics throughout all stages of the production process, Laura aims to tell people’s stories honestly and authentically.
Previous work has included a short documentary on Australia’s only Queer Teenage Youth Formal, an online, peer-led series for teens issues surrounding coming-of-age, as well as producing and directing a series on profile pieces of older women living on the fringes.
